Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 April 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Job Rovers platform, website, and services (the “Platform”). Job Rovers is an international ESL teacher placement service. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Who may use Job Rovers

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. Teachers using the Platform must be qualified or in the process of qualifying to teach English as a second language. Schools using the Platform must be legitimate educational institutions or hiring partners. Agents must be authorized to represent Job Rovers under a current agent agreement.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate and current information, and you must not impersonate another person or create duplicate accounts. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, is used fraudulently, or poses a risk to other users.

3. Pricing

Schools use Job Rovers at no cost. Schools are never charged platform fees, hiring fees, placement fees, or success fees. Browsing teachers, interviewing, and signing contracts are free for schools, forever.

Teachers can create a profile and apply at no cost. Optional paid features include a visibility subscription ($50 for three months of “go live” access to schools) and a profile boost ($10 for seven days of featured placement). These features are optional and can be canceled at any time, subject to the refund conditions below.

Agents earn commissions on successful placements under the terms of their agent agreement with Job Rovers.

4. Refunds

Teacher visibility subscriptions and boosts are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where a good-faith service failure prevents the feature from functioning. Refund requests can be sent to support@jobrovers.com.

5. Documents and verification

Teachers must upload authentic, unaltered copies of their bachelor's degree, TEFL/TESOL certificate, passport, and any other documents requested by the Platform or the hiring school. Providing forged, altered, or fraudulent documents is grounds for immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.

6. Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or harassing content.
  • Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or the institution you represent.
  • Harvest data from the Platform using bots, scrapers, or automated means.
  • Circumvent Platform fees or communications by taking hiring offline without disclosure.
  • Use the Platform for purposes other than recruitment, hiring, or teacher support.
  • Violate export controls, sanctions, or immigration laws.

7. Interviews and contracts

Interviews are conducted through the Platform's integrated video tool. Contracts are generated, negotiated, and digitally signed on the Platform. Offers, counter-offers, and final agreements are legally binding on the parties that sign them, subject to the contract terms and applicable law.

8. Work permits and visas

Job Rovers supports teachers and schools through the work-permit and visa process in the host country. Job Rovers is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and cannot guarantee the approval of any visa or permit application. Final decisions rest with the relevant government authority.

9. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its layout, code, copy, logos, and brand marks, is the property of Job Rovers and its licensors. Teachers retain ownership of the profile content and documents they upload, and grant Job Rovers a limited license to display and use that content to operate the Platform.

10. No-show and reliability

Teachers and schools are expected to honor scheduled interviews and commitments. Repeated no-shows, cancellations, or unreliable behavior may result in suspension. Current policy suspends accounts with two unexcused no-shows within a thirty-day period.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or put other users at risk. On termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately; certain records may be retained as required by law.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any particular teacher or school will be matched, hired, or satisfied with the outcome.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Job Rovers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you have paid to Job Rovers in the twelve months preceding the claim.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through the competent courts in Ho Chi Minh City.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and, where changes are material, notify active users by email. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
